WHO WE ARE
Learn Armenian Online is a project founded by a team of professionals who are eager to spread the knowledge of Armenian language. No matter what specific needs you have – business communication, speaking, or writing skills, we are here for you. Our skilled and experienced tutors will work out an individual study plan based on your needs. We offer both Eastern and Western Armenian lessons! |
HOW WE WORK
The first thing we will schedule when you apply to Learn Armenian Online is the initial interview or trial lesson. This is a free 25-30 minute long Skype-session which will help us figure out your needs, initial level of knowledge and give you some basic glue on the methodology that we are going to use during the classes. |
COURSES
We do not offer ready-to-use courses like “Business Armenian”, “Beginner”, “Intermediate” etc. to choose and follow undeviatingly. Everything depends on your initial level of Armenian and time frame. We listen carefully to everything you say about your needs during the first meeting, and ask questions to make sure that we really catch what you want. Then our teachers elaborate a result-oriented and measurable study plan tailor-made for you. It is flexible and adaptable to your speed and schedule with a major focus on teaching you to COMMUNICATE your ideas both in oral and written forms. |
THE ADVANTAGE OF AN ONLINE COURSE
While developing the project we have examined the modern methods of online language teaching and the resources that are used by the tutors all over the world. Modern technologies truly allow to compensate the lack of face-to-face contact with the tutor, so this course has some additional advantages. You don’t have to travel to your tutor, miss lessons when you are sick or on a vacation. All you need for taking your lesson is your PC …and a good Internet connection)) |
MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE COURSE
The main emphasis of the course is the development of your speaking and understanding skills along with reading and writing ones. This will be done through communication with a native speaker, mostly in Armenian, listening to recordings, watching videos in Armenian, memorizing and repeating texts, dialogs etc. The method is completely interactive so the process of learning is both fun and useful. The course is focused not only on providing you with language skills but also with necessary information about Armenia, its history, culture and traditions. |
